Marina Facilities

Berths

We have year round berthing available for yachts up to 60'. Visitors berths are always available and we can accommodate yachts of over 60' on a short term basis. Berths are accessible at all states of the tide. Draught in excess of 4m can be accommodated. Fresh water and electricity is available.

Moorings

We operate 60 swinging moorings in Rhu Bay and are available for vessels upto 70 tonnes. Moorings are usually let for the Summer season. A launch service is provided from the Marina from 0800 - dusk (or 21.45, whichever is earlier)

Storage

Winter storage is available both ashore and afloat. We can store approx. 140 yachts on cradles with masts down. Water and electricity points are available throughout the storage areas. Cradles are usually provided by the Marina.

Lifting Facilities

We use a 35 tonne Wise travel hoist which can operate 4 hours either side of high water. In addition there is a 4 tonne shuttle lift for smaller craft and a mobile crane for stepping masts etc.

Fuel

Diesel is available alongside at the fuelling berth. Petrol is not available at the Marina but can be obtained from the local (Helensbugh) garages.

Gas

Calor gas and Camping gaz are available from the Marina Reception. Most common sizes of bottle are stocked.

WiFi Broadband

Wireless broadband internet access is now available on your boat in the Marina; e-mail, surf the net and download files! 1Mb secure internet link throughout the Marina (sorry, not on the moorings yet) for just £10 per month. Contact reception for details or e-mail info@adscomm.co.uk
