The Royal Northern and Clyde was formed in 1978 from a merger of The Royal Northern and The Royal Clyde Yacht Clubs. The Clubhouse is situated in Rhu with extensive grounds leading down to the Gareloch. Very active on the racing front, regularly hosting major regattas, the club also encourages youth training. Members cruise extensively on the west coast and further afield. The club has a varied social programme and is available for functions. |
